Four Corners
More space for the money, between Bozeman, Belgrade, and Big Sky.
The short answer: Four Corners is the unincorporated crossroads west of Bozeman where Huffine Lane meets the highways to Big Sky and Manhattan. It offers larger lots, newer subdivisions, and often more home for the money, with Bozeman about fifteen minutes away and Big Sky about forty.
What it is like to live here
Four Corners works well if your life points in more than one direction. You can be in Bozeman for dinner, on the Gallatin River after work, or skiing at Big Sky in under an hour. More businesses open here every year, though you will still head into Bozeman for most shopping.
The homes
Planned subdivisions like Elk Grove, Middle Creek Parklands, and North Star offer single-family homes with neighborhood parks and trails. Black Bull adds a private golf community with custom homes, villas, and condos. Around the edges you will find rural parcels with room for a shop or horses.
Know before you buy
Because Four Corners is in the county, utilities, schools, and services work differently than in town. I confirm the water source, septic, school district, and HOA for every home before you commit.
Why buyers like it
Four Corners sits where Huffine Lane meets the highways to Big Sky and Manhattan, so it is a natural home base if you split time between Bozeman and the mountains. Lots are often larger and prices can be lower than in town. The Gallatin River and Bozeman Hot Springs are right there, and subdivisions like Middle Creek Parklands and Elk Grove have their own parks and trails.
Worth knowing
Four Corners is outside Bozeman city limits, so many homes use wells and septic and you will drive for most things. Huffine Lane and Highway 191 carry heavy traffic at rush hour. There are fewer city parks and sidewalks than in town, and the open valley floor can be windy.

Four Corners questions
What kind of homes are in Four Corners?
Single-family homes in planned subdivisions, golf community homes and condos, and rural acreage. Most were built mostly from the 1990s to today.
Is Four Corners inside Bozeman city limits?
Unincorporated Gallatin County, west of Bozeman. City limits affect water, sewer, taxes, and which services you use, so I confirm it for any address before you write an offer.
Does Four Corners have an HOA?
It depends on the street. Many newer subdivisions in this area have covenants and HOA dues, while older additions often do not. I pull the covenants and dues for any home you are considering.
Can I tour Four Corners homes from out of state?
Yes. I walk homes with you on live video, record a drive through the neighborhood at the time you would commute, and can plan a scouting trip if you want to see it in person first.
Written from local experience and public sources, last reviewed November 2026. Covenants, HOA dues, school boundaries, and development plans change, so I verify them for any specific home.
